YTK® analysis - dimensions
The method is used to assess the information processing methods of the analysed individuals. These preferences are viewed from four different perspectives:
1) General information processing method,
which includes qualities such as
- analytical and logical
- form-attached and systematic
- social
- innovative
2) Background factors, such as
- introvert and extrovert
- information processing based on sensory experience and personal thoughts (intuition)
- balancing of emotions and reason in actions
- speed in decision-making, i.e. whether the person is a thinker or solver
3) Method of acquiring new information, with three conceptual pairs
- emphasis on seeing or hearing in acquiring information
- emphasis on detail or larger concepts
- primary objective in acquiring information is to memorise things or understand the meaning
4) Other mental attributes include
- mental alertness
- active participation in learning
- self-esteem
